We were just here just for one night. It was one of the most affordable places around. Had a private room with a shared bathroom. I wasn't sure about the shared bathroom but honestly didn't bother us at all. The bathroom was clean and spacious and conveniently located next to us. There are like four bathrooms so everything is super close regardless which room you stay in. The staff up front was super helpful and pleasant. The lobby is like stepping into a movie. It's beautifully put together. The rooftop sitting area though it was raining and cold when we went was beautiful to see the city and they had plenty of chairs and tables. The room itself was perfect. Bed comfy. Windows with views. It was nice to have a sink in room as well! Honestly couldn't say a bad thing about our stay! It was perfect. 10/10 will always choose to stay here when in the area.

I'm on my second stay here in the bunk room, and I absolutely love it here! The staff is so friendly and everything is straightforward. The lobby with the coffee shop is a lovely comfortable vibe. I like how it's within walking distance of the Amtrak station.

I had an amazing time. I got the suite and it was worth it. There's no TVs in the room. So it helps with really disconnecting and enjoying everything around you. Close to so many things. Also the cafe had the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Staff was incredibly friendly. Will be staying here every time I come to Portland going forward. Also the pricing is really good as well.

It was very difficult finding a hotel that met my needs cause most reviews are folks complaining about the unhoused. Yes this hotel is in downtown, there are gonna be a lot of people around, but mind your business. i felt completely safe here. This is a hostel, and as a someone who frequently needs to use the restroom, having shared bathrooms might be a turn off- but i never felt rushed or like i didn’t have access when i needed it. It has the perfect amount of restrooms on each floor, and they’re all so clean! The room i stayed in was a little small, but still had space to leave my things by the bedside and a sink and it took advantage of spacing under my bed. Overall, - the front desk was extremely helpful - The cafe downstairs is nice to have - Rooms are cozy and cleanly - Bathrooms are sterile and very clean - The hotel itself is in a good area with many fun bars/ eateries/ and the union station at a short walking distance I had a wonderful experience and will be coming again
